What to Bring on Your Casino Bus Trip

Published

Pack for the trip you reserved, not for an assumed baggage allowance or casino promotion. Keep your original photo ID and reservation details easy to reach, use the published bag rules and leave restricted items at home. The checklist below draws from GreatLand Tours' current passenger policies.

Your original, valid government-issued photo ID

Every passenger must be 21 or older and present their own original, valid government-issued photo ID at boarding. Check that it has not expired before leaving home. Photocopies, digital photos and expired IDs are not accepted.

A confirmation code, casino card or another passenger's identification does not replace your own ID. Even when one person reserves seats for the group, each individual must satisfy the boarding requirement and the destination casino's entry requirements.

Your reservation confirmation and return details

Keep the confirmation code, travel date, pickup address, departure time and scheduled return available on your phone or a paper copy. Make sure everyone in your party knows the correct pickup. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure rather than planning to reach the area at departure time.

Check both return dates and times, especially for a trip that returns the following day. The casino departure time and the Houston arrival time are different events. If a detail is unclear, call 713-777-9988 before relying on an assumption.

An optional casino player card

If you have a player card for your intended casino, you may bring it and provide its number in the optional reservation field. The card is not a substitute for government-issued photo ID, and the reservation form does not require a player card to identify the booking holder.

Do not assume that carrying a card creates eligibility for a promotion or guarantees a casino benefit. Confirm any casino-specific requirements separately. Keep the card with your own belongings so it is available when needed at the destination.

A bag that meets the actual luggage rules

Carry-on items must fit in the overhead rack or under the seat. Luggage storage in the coach undercarriage is permitted only for passengers with a confirmed hotel stay. Do not assume a large suitcase is included for an ordinary day trip or that the guide authorizes an exception.

Passengers are responsible for their belongings at the pickup, on the bus and at the destination. Secure items so they do not create a hazard. GreatLand Tours' policies state it is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged items, including items left on the bus or in parking areas. Contact the team before travelling if your bag or situation needs clarification.

Permitted food and drinks

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted on board under the published policy. Glass containers, alcohol and illegal substances are not permitted. Passengers must keep their area clean, dispose of trash properly and avoid spilling food or beverages.

Pack only what complies with those rules. Do not use general travel advice as permission for a restricted item. Read the current passenger policies before departure if you have questions about onboard conduct or belongings.

A clear return plan

Your return seat is guaranteed on the scheduled return for the trip you booked. Your ticket is also valid for return travel for up to three days from your original departure date. If you choose a different return bus, seating is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Contact GreatLand Tours to confirm availability before taking a different return bus.

Keep the scheduled return details with your confirmation. Asking about another bus does not release the original seat. Before packing for a longer stay, confirm any alternate return availability with GreatLand Tours and check the luggage conditions for a confirmed hotel stay.
